Discover the secrets behind the unique flavours and textures of Indian street food as you dive into the vibrant world of "chaat."

What is chaat? Chaat is a traditional savoury snack sold by street vendors in India. It's tangy, sweet, salty, creamy and has so many delightful textures.

In this class will share the fascinating history and cultural significance of Indian street food, giving you a deeper understanding of the culinary traditions that have shaped this beloved cuisine.

Not only will you learn how to make everything from scratch, but I will also provide shortcuts and tips to make the preparation easier.

    • Masala Chai - spiced Indian tea, made from scratch

    • Dahi Puri - stuffed crispy pooris

    • Keema Pav- Mumbai Style mince meat curry with bread OR

    • Pindi Chole- Traditional chickpea curry

    • Khatte Aloo - Tangy potato curry

    • Poori - Deep Fried bread

    • Mango OR Strawberry Lassi - a popular yogurt-based drink

    • Green Chutney: Our signature condiment to go with any street food dish

    • Tamarind & Date chutney

    Note: The menu is subject to change depending on the availability of ingredients.

  • Please let us know if you cannot have one of the dishes and we will arrange something else for you.

    • Bring your own favorite drink. Indian food goes well with a Crisp Chardonnay or beer

    • This is not a 100% hands-on class.

    • All the vegetables etc will be chopped so there will be minimal handling of common ingredients

    • This course is suitable for people who are vegan, and/or vegetarian.

    • In unforeseen circumstances should we have to reschedule the class, we will notify you in advance and give you new dates to choose from.
